2 Minimalist Bedroom Looks: Bedroom Ideas for Summer

We have more of a minimalist bedroom in terms of decor, and like to keep our room clutter-free with just a few special decor pieces. We switch out our throw pillows ALL the time and today we’re sharing two summer bedroom decor looks from Walmart Home!

BEDROOM DECOR FOR SUMMER

Our tried-and-true bedroom throw pillow look is 2 square decorative pillows, plus 1 lumbar pillow in front. Since we designed our bedroom to have a neutral foundation, it’s super easy to swap out throw pillows to create a new look each season! I found a lot of inspiration for bedroom decor on Walmart’s Summer Home Lookbook and curated these two simple and easy bedroom looks.

For this first bedroom look, I chose these pretty light yellow throw pillows as a pop of color and paired it with this boho lumbar pillow, which brings a cozy texture to the space. I also added this super soft plush throw blanket to the foot of the bed.

For this second look, still going with the 2 square pillows + 1 lumbar, the pop of yellow comes from the lumbar pillow instead. We love using neutrals to keep the whole bedroom decor feel very relaxing and serene, and chose these cream pillows to pair with the yellow lumbar pillow. At the foot of the bed, this neutral plush throw blanket adds an inviting touch to the space!

Minimalist Bedroom Decor

Our minimalist bedroom decor also extends to the nightstands where we introduced this modern table lamp with a pretty marble base and brass finish. This faux succulent plant adds a touch of greenery to the nightstand. Overall, we like to keep our nightstands clutter-free and have a very clean and minimal look!
