1) Clear Out Shelves and Countertop
Empty your shelves and countertop to see what you can get rid of. As you start to re-organize your space, make note of what kind of containers and baskets you may need to organize your belongings. While browsing storage and organization solutions at Walmart Home, I selected various baskets and containers that would suit our needs (and help hide our clutter!).
2) Use Pretty Storage Baskets
Using the same uniform storage basket to organize laundry items is key to creating a seamless uncluttered look! We love these woven baskets that give texture and warmth to our laundry closet, while also hiding items that we don’t reach for as often. This countertop basket is a great option to store our cleaning towels and is easily accessible on the laundry counter.
3) Clear Glass Containers
Instead of keeping tide pods in its original packaging, use glass containers or jars to display them in a pretty way! We used bamboo lid glass containers to display our tide pods, while still being functional and easy to reach when we do laundry. The bamboo lid adds to the scandinavian aesthetic we were going for and beautifully complements the rest of our laundry decor.
4) Turntable for Spray Bottles
Placing spray bottles on a turntable makes it easy to look for and grab the specific cleaning bottle you need!
5) Art Decor and Greenery
Finish off your laundry room with additional decor and greenery. Putting even just one art frame can help to create a finished and inviting look. A botanical art piece leaned against the wall on the countertop brings a touch of greenery to the space and is such a simple addition. Bringing in greenery through fresh or faux plants is another great finishing touch.
