With the weather getting warmer, decorating our outdoor spaces have been on our minds! I’ve been helping my parents decorate their new house and they have a small concrete patio area in their backyard that was a complete blank slate.
In this post, we’re sharing how we decorated their small patio, along with a roundup of our favorite Walmart patio furniture and outdoor decor finds!

MODERN BISTRO SET
I absolutely love this 3-piece modern boho bistro set from Walmart! It comes with two comfortable chairs and a table and is a perfect spot to sip your coffee in the morning. This bistro set was the first thing I selected and it set the tone for a simple, neutral outdoor patio look.
We were really impressed with the quality of this patio furniture set and highly recommend it! Note that assembly is required, but it was straightforward and didn’t take long to assemble.
WALMART PATIO FURNITURE
While browsing Walmart Home patio furniture, I came across a few other options I considered but didn’t end up getting due to space limitations, but still wanted to share these patio finds with you!
The first was this outdoor sofa and table set – I love that this patio set comes with two nesting tables! This wicker boho egg chair also caught my eye, along with this cozy hanging egg chair! We have a hanging egg chair on our roof deck and I’m a huge fan of using them for outdoor spaces.
NEUTRAL OUTDOOR RUG
I’m usually very picky when it comes to rugs, but when I came across this outdoor rug I knew it was perfect for the patio! I love the textured look, along with the Moroccan style pattern. The size we got was 4’x6’ and it’s just enough to anchor the bistro set. Its neutral look will complement any of your outdoor furniture.
OUTDOOR PATIO DECOR
For the outdoor decor, we kept it simple with just a few pieces to finish off the space! For some contrast and height, we added this modern black lantern (in size: small) to the table as a centerpiece. A few cozy throw pillows are always a must, and I love this ivory tasseled lumbar and striped pillow. The finishing touch was this rattan lantern, which adds so much warmth and texture.
